المستخلص

The current research aimed to identify the requirements for developing strategic vigilance for public secondary school principals in Egypt by revealing the emergence of strategic vigilance, its importance, objectives and dimensions, in addition to the responsibilities of the director of public secondary schools at the present time.
The research used the descriptive approach in order to present its scientific vision towards its research axes, and one of its most prominent results was that the development of strategic vigilance among secondary school principals requires possession of public relations skills with the employment of the information base available at the school as well as distributing tasks to workers according to the principle of specialization with effective guidance and supervision and coordination of efforts All efforts are made to ensure that everyone works in the light of a clear vision and a specific message
