Ancient civilizations and heritage are extremely important resources for a textile printing designer, it is noted recently that the attention of many writers, authors, film directors and others went to the art of myths specially myths of the ancient greek civilization, and they inspired many of their scenes and characters from them, due to their richness of visual art.
A mythical creature is a creature from ancient myths that was said to have supernatural powers that have no material explanation.  Often mythical creatures symbolize either virtues and the power of good or vices and the forces of evil and each of them has its own shape, characteristics and strength.
Mythical creatures have always been associated with the gods , and they clearly appear in the legends of the gods and heroes, they are many and differ in their origins, but we can determine that the most famous mythical creatures appeared in Greek mythology.
This research deals with the aesthetics and artistic values ​​present the mythical creatures mentioned in Greek mythology and conducting a descriptive and artistic analysis of some of the artworks that present these creatures, and inspire from them in creating printed textile hangings combining modernity with the spirit of the heritage era, and adds an aesthetic touch to the interior architecture of public institutions and private buildings.
The research also present applied study that the researcher dealt with through a set of different designs for printed textile hangings.
