Spatial and cartographic analysis of gas stations in Banha Center

Abstract

The study shows that there is a notable deficit in the number of filling stations as the district includes 20 stations, whereas it needs 106 filling stations to match the population rate in 2021. The number of villages that do not have filling stations reached 34 villages (79.06% of the total number of the Benha district) while the number of villages that have gas stations is 7 villages (16.27% of the total number of the district of Benha) which are (Sandanhour, Shablangeh, Talha, Kafr El-Jazzar, Mirsafa, Bamda, Batta), and there are also 7 stations in Benha City (first section and second section). A number of car filling stations are located in the Benha center on the main roads, and there are 4 stations, including two stations on the Cairo-Alexandria road, and two stations on the Benha-Mit Ghamr road, and there are 16 filling stations on the internal roads between cities and villages in the district of Benha.
