The current study aimed to examine the psychometric validity of the Social Skills Scale for the Workplace for individuals with Intellectual Disabilities. The psychometric validity verification sample consisted of 20 individuals with intellectual disabilities aged 15-18 years, with a mean age of 16.1 years and a standard deviation of 1.071. The final version of the scale consisted of 36 items divided into 4 dimensions: Dimension 1: Verbal and nonverbal communication in the workplace: This dimension consisted of 9 items, Dimension 2: Social interaction in the workplace: This dimension consisted of 9 items, Dimension 3: Social problem-solving in the workplace: This dimension consisted of 9 items, Dimension 4: Workplace skills: This dimension consisted of 9 items, The results showed that the current study achieved its objective; the Social Skills Scale for the Workplace for individuals with Intellectual Disabilities was developed, designed, and measured. It was also standardized, and it has shown good validity, reliability, and internal consistency. It is an effective tool for evaluating social skills for people with intellectual disabilities, and therefore it is suitable for use and the results can be trusted.
