Abstract
Given the proliferation of the technology of Artificial Intelligence (AI), and the applications with autonomous databases, the need becomes dire to address the potential role of AI in the landscape of social order. Specifically, legal research is obliged to address the legislative frameworks suggested to regulate AI. So, given the Eurocentric foundation of both the AI technology and its proposed legislative framework, this article navigates the supreme norms and the origins upon which the western groups were founded. This can explain the legislative discourse that relates to AI, with its embedded western axioms, before extrapolating its application to non-western jurisdictions.
