Abstract

The current research aimed to improve the expressive language of the linguistically delayed children participating in the current research, and to verify the effectiveness of the use of some smartphone applications by parents in improving the expressive language of their linguistically delayed children. The current research relied on the experimental method, one group system. The experimental aspect of this research was conducted during the period from May 1 to June 30, 2023. The current research was limited to the Medical Center for People with Disabilities located in Arab Juhayna, Shebin El Qanater, Qalyubia Governorate. The program proposed in this research was applied to (10) linguistically delayed children through their parents. The research relied on the language development scale modified by Nahla Al-Rifai, and the results concluded that there was a statistically significant difference between the average ranks of the experimental group members’ scores in the pre- and post-measurements on the language scale. The expressiveness used in the current research is in the direction of the average ranks of the post-measurement scores (the best measurement). There are educational recommendations.
