This research aimed to estimate the economics of wheat crop production in Sharkia Governorate according to different irrigation systems, by studying the production cost items, including production requirements, agricultural service operations (variable costs), rental value, other expenses, and total costs, as well as studying the total revenue items for the wheat crop, and finally studying Indicators of economic efficiency for wheat crop production in Sharkia Governorate under different irrigation systems in the study sample. The research used descriptive and quantitative statistical analysis, and it used the tabular presentation method, relative comparisons, and one-way analysis of variance. It relied on two sources of data, the first of which is published and unpublished secondary data from various publications. The second is preliminary data collected from a random sample of wheat farmers in the New Salhiya Center in Sharkia Governorate during the 2022/2023 agricultural season, consisting of 120 farmers. The research reached several results, the most important of which are: (1) The total costs for the wheat crop amounted to about 9308.94 pounds per fadan for the total sample, and amounted to about 8643.52 pounds as a minimum in drip irrigation, and about 10171.02 pounds as a maximum in flood irrigation, while it reached 9159.18 pounds, 9209.26 pounds in fixed sprinkler irrigation and pivot irrigation, respectively.
