Abstract

The research aims to identify the impact of a rehabilitation program using rubber cord and weight training on the functional efficiency of the knee joint after anterior cruciate ligament surgery for football players, the researcher used the experimental approach using the experimental design of measurements (pre- and post) using one group to suit the nature of the research, and the sample was selected in a deliberate way and numbered (10) players in addition to (4) players for the exploratory experiment, and the most important results were the existence of statistically significant differences between the pre-measurement and the post-measurement in Variables of the range of motion in favor of the post-measurement, the existence of statistically significant differences between the pre-measurement and the post-measurement in the variables of the muscular strength of the muscles working on the knee joint in favor of the post-measurement, the existence of statistically significant differences between the pre-measurement and the post-measurement in the variables of the degree of pain sensation in favor of the post-measurement of the sample under research, and the most important recommendations were the need to emphasize attention to warm-up exercises and their duration to avoid knee muscle injuries and the need to adhere to the gradual application of the proposed program exercises from easy to difficult To avoid the recurrence of injury and pay attention to strength, flexibility and balance exercises even after the completion of the rehabilitation program to avoid the recurrence of injury.
