Abstract

Injury is one of the most important basic reasons that may lead to a decline in the player's level of continuing training, and may cause him, even after completing recovery, incomplete performance and incomplete skill, and reduces the level of physical and skill performance due to being away from the stadiums and not training for long periods. With the tremendous development in the field of sports medicine, especially in the field of sports injuries, and following all security and safety factors to try to reduce injuries, it has become necessary to develop preventive programs to reduce sports injuries.

The research aims to identify "the effect of a motor rehabilitation program to prevent some spinal injuries". The researcher used the experimental method using the experimental design for measurements (pre-post) using one group, as it is the appropriate method for the nature of the research. The research sample was chosen intentionally and amounted to (20) players. The sample number was (10) players for the experimental group, and (10) players for the control group. The exploratory sample number was (6) players. The most important devices used were (dynamometer - genometer). The most important results indicated the positive effect of the proposed preventive motor rehabilitation program, as the results proved the existence of statistically significant differences between the averages of the pre- and post-measurements in the variables (spine range of motion - muscle strength) in favor of the post-measurement of the sample under study.
