Abstract

The current research aims to study the effectiveness of a program based on presentations and to know its impact on developing visual perception among kindergarten children with social learning disabilities. The research sample in its final form consisted of (5) children in the second grade of kindergarten. The quasi-experimental approach was adopted with one group. The researcher applied the Gooden-Harris Man Drawing Test (translated by Fatima Hanafi, 1983). She prepared a questionnaire for kindergarten teachers about the use of the presentation program, the Social Learning disabilities Scale for kindergarten children, the Social Skills Scale for kindergarten children with social learning disabilities, the Visual Perception Scale for kindergarten children with social learning disabilities (prepared by the researcher), and the research program. Through the research results, it became clear that there is a statistically significant difference between the average scores of the pre- and post-measurements for kindergarten children with social learning disabilities in visual perception skills after applying the program based on presentations in favor of the post-measurement. There is also no statistically significant difference between the average scores of the post-measurement and the follow-up measurement for the research sample on the visual perception scale.
