Abstract

As a result of global conflicts and overlapping crises, the Middle East and North Africa regions suffered from slow growth rates and high public debt for each political unit; it was expected that, following the recovery from the Corona crisis, emerging and developing economies would grow in 2023 by about (4.4%), with the exception of the Middle East and North Africa region for about (2.7%), except for oil-exporting countries, which benefited from the rise in oil prices as a result of the 2022 Russian-Ukrainian war and achieved rapid growth of (5.2%).
We agree with the trend that says that not finding an appropriate solution to the Palestinian problem will lead to crises and disturbances whose effects extend to the regional and global levels, especially the concepts of national security; especially since the conflict zone is related to one of the most important shipping lanes as a major choke point, which raises the concept of (Red Sea region security).
This research deals with the study of the analysis of the economic impacts facing global supply and value chains within the international maritime trade movement affected by the disturbances in the Red Sea region, which began as an effect of the Israeli war on Gaza since late 2023 AD; and its relation to the concepts of Egyptian national security within the economic field and its precise specialization in maritime supply and global value chains.
