Abstract

The problem of the study is that small projects in Egypt in general and Dakahlia Governorate in particular have not received sufficient study despite being one of the sectors that absorb a large percentage of small capital, which contributes to absorbing a large portion of the labor force in society. The study was limited to greenhouse projects for some vegetable crops. Therefore, the study seeks to determine the role of the economic efficiency of greenhouse projects for some vegetable crops by evaluating the economic performance of these projects to estimate the impact of this net income on investors and estimate the job opportunities available in these projects and the extent to which these projects achieve economic prosperity. The study aims primarily to measure the economic return of greenhouse projects for some vegetable crops by measuring the impact of the export efficiency of greenhouse projects for some vegetable crops, namely cucumber, pepper, tomato and eggplant, on income and employment in Egypt and Dakahlia Governorate. To achieve the objectives of the study, the quantitative and descriptive method was relied upon, in addition to using standard and statistical analysis tools, in the selected projects at the level of the Arab Republic of Egypt and Dakahlia Governorate, as well as the export efficiency of greenhouse projects for some vegetable crops on income and employment in Egypt and Dakahlia Governorate.
