The Impact of Talent Management on the Relationship between Authentic Leadership and Sustainable Competitive Advantage (Applying to Public Universities in Hadhramout Governorate)

Abstract

This study aimed to find out the impact of authentic leadership on achieving sustainable competitive advantage in public universities located in Hadramout governorate in light of the mediating role of talent management, as well as determining whether there are substantial differences between the opinions of the research community on authentic leadership, talent management and sustainable competitive advantage according to variables. Demographic and organizational (gender, age, scientific title, length of service, university).
The study population, which includes faculty members at the Universities of Hadramout and Seiyun, was (461) individuals, of which (394) individuals represent Hadramout University and (67) individuals represent Seiyun University.
The study found a number of results, the most important of which was the existence of a positive impact of authentic leadership on sustainable competitive advantage, as well as the presence of a positive impact of authentic leadership on talent management, and also the presence of a positive impact of talent management on sustainable competitive advantage in the universities in question. Authentic leadership on sustainable competitive advantage increases when mediating talent management, because these three variables of the study represent the triangle of growth, continuity, and success for universities. In society and its sustainable competitive advantage, however, the study found that there were no significant differences in opinions about the variables of the study according to (gender, age, scientific title, length of service, university).
