“The Effect of Functional Bullying on the Relationship between Social Organizational Capital and Functional Burnout” Applying to Egyptian public universities

Abstract

The research aims mainly to determine the nature of the relationship between social organizational capital and job burnout in light of the mediation of job bullying. The study was applied to Egyptian public universities, which are (Cairo University - Ain Shams - Banha - Helwan) using a set of statistical methods (SPSS). - (AMOS) to test the validity and quality of the model.
The results showed the quality and suitability of the model variables, as well as the presence of a negative effect of social organizational capital for both “job burnout and job bullying.”
There is also a positive effect of job bullying on job burnout, and there is an effect of job bullying on the relationship between social organizational capital and job burnout.
In light of the previous results, some recommendations were made to adopt strategies to break the stagnation, rigidity, and routine observed in government work, develop self-efficacy among university employees, develop individuals’ administrative skills, and provide strategies to confront job bullying.
