Abstract

The current research aimed to identify the psychometric properties of the psychological immunity scale among middle school students. The researcher relied on the descriptive method, and the scale was applied to a sample of (30) students from the middle school stage, aged between (12-15) years, with an average age of (13.5) years and a standard deviation of (0.91).
The results showed:
- The agreement rate among the scale's raters on the validity of the scale items ranged between 80% and 100%. Consequently, the raters' validity resulted in no items being removed from the scale, indicating the scale's validity and the appropriateness of its items.
- The concurrent validity of the psychological immunity scale was calculated. The validity of the psychological immunity scale was verified using concurrent validity by correlating the scores of the psychological immunity scale (prepared by the researcher) with the psychological immunity scale prepared by Khalid Al-Maliki (2019), resulting in a correlation coefficient of (0.71), which is a strong and significant correlation at the 0.01 level, confirming the concurrent validity of the psychological immunity scale.
- The internal consistency of the scale was also verified, with correlation coefficients between the dimensions and the total score ranging from (0.68 to 0.85). The correlation coefficients between each item score and the total score of the dimension it belongs to ranged from (0.48 to 0.86), which are significant values at (0.01),
